Crimewatch’s first ‘Wanted faces’ list of the year once again provides us with a graphic depiction of the clear correlations between race and crime.
Of the seven people featured in February’s wanted list, only two (29 percent) are White British, despite the fact that 80 percent of the population is classed as White British in the most recent national census.

February’s wanted criminals are:
Abdi Qadir Karshe – Wanted in connection with an incident where a woman and her boyfriend were attacked at her home with a hammer. The woman was then raped by three men.
Defrim Iseberi – Wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a security guard in Albania in 1997.
Gierdus Dubosas – Wanted in connection with the murder of a businessman who was tortured and then killed with an electrical cable.
Jamal Hussein-Mohamed – Wanted in relation to an attempted rape in London which happened in 2007 during which a woman was threatened with a knife.
Roy Norman Kenyon – Disappeared ten years ago while on licence from Leyhill Prison in Gloucestershire, where he'd been serving a sentence for beating a woman to death with a poker.
Steve Marcell – Police want to talk to the 43-year-old about an incident during which a woman was assaulted and in relation to several offences of criminal damage.
Timmy Sullivan – Twenty-five-year-old Timmy Sullivan is wanted after breaching the terms of his licence after he was released from prison. He was serving a sentence for his part in the murder of a 20-year-old man, who was stabbed in a car park in Essex in 2005.
