With the Tudhoe ward by-election fast approaching, the British National Party’s candidate, Pete Molloy, has written personally to voters:

Dear Voter,

I hope you found my election leaflet very informative regarding the type of person I am and the understanding of the types of issues that people feel are important to them.

There is only one other candidate, from the Labour Party, that is contesting the by-election on Thursday 10th January 2013. If Labour had gotten their way, they would have neglected the democratic process and co-opted their friend onto the council.  I don’t think that is right, and in the interest of democracy it is important that you get a say on whom you want to represent you rather than having someone imposed on you.  The British National Party will always ensure the democratic process is observed and respected.

The local ruling Labour Party have turned Spennymoor from a thriving manufacturing town into a takeaway-and-charity shop town.  A walk down to the town centre is all that is needed to see Labour’s planned decline of Spennymoor in action.  We need jobs, well-paid jobs, returning to our town, and not thousands of houses that people can’t afford to buy.

Nationally, Labour imposed the biggest ever mass immigration project on our country, which has resulted in London becoming the first British city in which we are now less than 50% of the population.  Labour did this to bring in a whole new voter base, as they have turned their backs on the British working class.

I know many of you will have always voted Labour and are reluctant to change, but Labour isn’t Labour anymore, and there are many “old Labour” types like us who have found a new political home in the British National Party.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. When elected, I promise to represent you to the best of my ability.

Yours faithfully,

Pete Molloy

P.S.  You may receive some leaflets from groups connected to the Labour Party that try to smear me or my party.  This undemocratic tactic is not unusual during an election and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
