Marion Le Pen
Congratulations are in order for the second time in five weeks for Golden Dawn, who are reported to have gained 7 percent of the vote in Greece’s elections, roughly the same as the 6.9 percent they got in May.

There’s good news from France too, where the Front National have won two seats, their first since 1997.

Marion Le Pen, granddaughter of Jean Marie, was elected with 49.09 percent of the vote in the south-eastern Vaucluse department. At just 22 she becomes the youngest French MP in modern history.

The other electee was lawyer Gilbert Collard, who won in the southern Gard department.

Sadly, party leader Marine Le Pen seems to have lost by just 118 votes in the constituency of Hénin Beaumont in the northern Pas de Calais, scoring 49.89 percent to her rival’s 50.11 percent.
