Jobbik leader Gábor Vona has stated that his party should aim for nothing less than victory in Hungary’s 2014 parliamentary election.
Vona was speaking after his comfortable re-election to the post of Jobbik president at the party’s congress on Saturday.
He expressed his thanks for the overwhelming support, which he interpreted as clear feedback for the party leadership to continue its work to develop a ‘radical, taboo-breaking and outspoken force that is able to govern the country’.
‘For Jobbik, radicalism and ability to govern are not incompatible concepts,’ he said.
