By Natasha Malley (YBNP member): On Saturday 7 April my mother and I travelled from Ashington in Northumberland to Hebburn, Tyne and Wear, to help leaflet Martin Vaughan’s Hebburn North ward for the coming council elections on May 3rd.

The leafleting team was headed by Martin Vaughan and included Gordon Stridiron, Muriel Malley and me. Between the four of us we distributed nearly 2,000 leaflets in five hours. We were able to speak to voters of the BNP and listen to their concerns about our country. We were even able to persuade non-voters into voting BNP.

Overall the response from local people was great, and it’s always nice to see we have support from the general public. It was a fantastic day with a group of likeminded people who care for the lives of future generations.

Don’t forget to vote ‘British National Party’ on May 3rd!
