Letter by Ralph Musgrave in The Northern Echo:
The two extremist political parties I object to are Labour and the Conservatives, the ones which backed the invasion of Iraq on the basis of doctored intelligence reports and a pack of lies, resulting in the death of a million Muslims.
So presumably teachers who are Labour or Tory party members better watch out. Or have I got something wrong there?
Even better, Mr Gove objects to extremist parties because he claims they don’t support the rule of law.
Labour and Tory politicians are, of course, a shining example when it comes to abiding by the law: cash for honours, dirty deals with Rupert Murdoch, fiddling expense sheets and the Iraq invasion. The hypocrisy is breathtaking.
