Hartlepool BNP had another productive day of action on Saturday, gaining a further 300 signatures for the Party's Bring Our Boys Home campaign.
"Our second day of action was as successful as last week's," said local organiser, Peter King. "We had a great response from the public once again, especially from elderly residents.
"Three of our local candidates and dedicated activists, Cheryl Dunn, Simone Higgins and Eileen Judge, all did an excellent job getting amongst the busy crowds and getting signatures from the public, many of whom were delighted to see us again from last week.
"We had words of encouragement from members of the Forces and some parents who have sons in the Army, and nearly everyone we asked to sign our petition did so gladly. We were busy all day, and we even had people come up to us and ask to sign while we were packing up to leave."
